First of all we apologize because we are obliged to send you this message in a more general version. We would like to ask a minute of your time to read this message.
Are you a real friend of Congo and the Congolese? Then you are for sure also a real friend of CongoForum, the project on the Internet which has already been operational since 2005. More then six years!
The existence of CongoForum (www.congoforum.be) is being made possible by the altruistic and permanent work of a group of volunteers who are spending their time and energy for this trilingual website. They are working hard and are asking nothing in return.
Many people and organizations are showing their appreciation for CongoForum. We know this because of the many positive messages and questions we are receiving. The website has become very important for a growing group of people and for the organizations, structures or companies for which they are working.
We find our impartiality very important, and are for sure choosing the side of the ordinary Congolese and of everybody who is really concerned with their everyday life.
Keeping our website ‘in the air’ – that is financing the hosting of our website – is not an easy thing to do. We try to pay for this thanks to members’ fees, forms of sponsorship and occasional donations.
Would you like to lend CongoForum a hand too? And to show us your solidarity and sympathy? By all means. You can become a ‘friend of CongoForum’ by contributing the small sum of 5 euros on a monthly basis, the price of a soup in a pub. Not more than 60 euros per year. If you want to donate more, you can do so of course.

– to run a trilingual website focussing on Congo, its people, its big needs and challenges
– to continue with a project focussing on durable development in Congo
– to create a permanent interest for what is happening in Congo and for the Congolese
– to have a platform for all those who commit

– to encourage Belgians, Congolese and others to collaborate and to develop more contacts
– to continue with a project which gets a growing appreciation from the most diverse people (not only Belgium and Congo but also many other countries)
